RACE is typical bollywood masala

Hi friends,

The name of the new bollywood film RACE should be Twist or Shock. Friends, don’t think that this movie is full of Races or it is a story of a racer. After seeing this movie my mind became blank for 1 hour. RACE is typical bollywood masala movie nothing special.

Anil Kapoor’s comedy was outstanding and Johnny lever’s guest appearance performance is another highlight of the movie. The music of the film had saved this movie from becoming flop in the box office.

Some of the action scenes were copied from the English movie Final Destination. But the Director duo Abbas-Mastan was not able to make the scene mind-blowing. In the English movie if u see the scene you will be afraid after watching it.

Saif Ali Khan’s & Bipasha Basu’s performance was as usual, nothing special. Akshaye Khanna’s performance was good but not upto his standards. Katrina Kaif looks more like a doll than an actress. She had no facial expressions or emotions. I don’t understand how she is accepted in the bollywood, may be because of her physical looks. Katrina Kaif’s performance was the worst, of the entire star cast. Sameera Reddy has a small role and her performance was also not outstanding.

The story starts with rivalry between two horse racing companies and ends up some where else. If I tell the suspense some readers of this review will not watch the movie at all. So, I don’t want to go much into the story. Most of the scenes were shot in beautiful locations in South Africa. I will rate the story of this movie 2 out of 5.

‘Pehli Nazar Mein’ is the highlight song sung by Atif Aslam. This song will take u into a different world with your girlfriend or boyfriend. It is a very romantic song. I love this song very much. ‘Race Saanson Ki’ is next best song in this movie. Remaining songs were below average songs and I will rate the music as 3 out 5. The Music Director of this movie is Pritam Chakraborty.

The star cast of this film:Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy. Sameera Reddy and Bips were very sexy in this movie. Katrine Kaif was not as sexy as other two. But all the women costumes were so short that guys will rub their eyes after seeing the movie…One day comes when all the women will be wearing only western dresses and Indian saris and punjabi dresses will vanish from the market. Why Indians run after western culture? Movie stars also show more importance to western style. Soon I think our culture will vanish. That’s all for now folks.
